Terms of service
The agreement between you and Appleak for using appleak.app: what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

In short
- Browse freely. Running a search or report needs an account, and metered tools show their credit cost first.
- Use what you find for your own work. Don’t resell Appleak’s data, get around limits, or harass the people you find.
- Figures are estimates and AI answers can be wrong. Check before you rely on them.
- You own what you type and connect. Leave whenever you like, from your account page.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Appleak, the people who run appleak.app (“Appleak”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or the product you accept them. If you use Appleak for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you may do so.
The privacy policy explains how we handle information and is part of these terms.
What Appleak is
Appleak is a research tool for the app market. It reads public sources such as store listings, reviews, ad libraries and social posts, and, if you connect them, your own store and social accounts, and answers questions about apps, markets, ads and creators with the sources and dates it read.
The product changes as we build it. Features may be added, changed, labelled as early, or removed.
Accounts
- Anyone can browse. Running searches, reports and other tools needs a free account.
- You sign in with GitHub, Google or a link sent to your email. Keep that sign-in to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what is done with it.
- Give an email address you can receive mail at, and keep it current.
- You must be at least 16 to have an account.
Plans, credits and payment
- There is a free plan and paid plans. What each includes and costs is on the pricing page.
- Tools that cost money to run use credits. A metered tool shows its cost before you run it, and browsing or opening saved results costs nothing. Allowances reset on the calendar period shown for your plan; unused credits do not carry over unless the plan says so.
- Credits from coupons and referrals are added to your account as described where you redeem them. They have no cash value.
- Paid plans are bought on the payment provider’s checkout and renew each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period already paid.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does.
- If something went wrong with a charge, use the contact section of the help manual. Nothing here takes away refund rights your local law gives you.
Fair use
Use Appleak lawfully and for your own work. Please don’t:
- resell, republish in bulk, or build a competing dataset from Appleak’s results;
- scrape Appleak, or reach it by automated means other than the product itself;
- get around limits, credits or a suspension, for example with extra accounts, or by referring yourself or misusing coupons;
- harass, spam or mislead the creators, reviewers or anyone else you find through Appleak, or contact them in ways their platform forbids;
- use Appleak to identify, track or profile private individuals;
- probe, overload or break the service, or upload anything harmful.
Public data and other platforms
Much of what Appleak shows belongs to others: store listings, reviews, ads, posts and profiles stay the property of the people and companies who made them. App names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Appleak is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, X or the other platforms it reads.
Sources can be incomplete, delayed, or change or stop without notice, and when they do, results change with them. When you use a connected account to post or contact someone, that platform’s rules apply too.
Estimates and AI answers
Revenue, download and similar figures are estimates unless they come from your own connected store, and are labelled that way. Matching an ad, a video or a creator to an app is not exact. AI-written answers can be wrong or miss things.
Appleak helps you research; it is not financial, legal or investment advice. Check what matters before you rely on it.
What is yours
What you type, upload and connect stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run Appleak for you, as the privacy policy describes. Make sure you have the right to anything you upload.
The answers and reports Appleak gives you are yours to use in your own work, including sharing them with your team and clients. Something you share by link can be read by anyone with the link.
What is ours
The Appleak software, site, design and name are ours. These terms give you the right to use them while you have an account and follow these terms, and nothing more. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Connected stores and accounts
Connecting a store or a social account is optional. What Appleak reads, the consents you can give and how to disconnect are set out on the store connections and social accounts pages. Every consent is off until you switch it on, and consent to improve estimates is never consent to publish your figures.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Appleak and delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it does not by itself cancel a paid subscription with the payment provider; cancel that first.
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why first. Clauses that by their nature should outlast the agreement, such as 7, 9 and 13 to 15, do.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell signed-in users about changes that matter before they take effect. Using Appleak after a change means you accept it; if you don’t, you can delete your account.
No warranty
Appleak is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results are complete or accurate.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of Appleak. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
Law and disputes
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and may bring a claim there.
Before going to court, please use the contact section of the help manual: most problems are settled faster that way.
