Using the API
Credits and pricing
The API spends your plan’s credits, the same balance the app spends, and a run costs exactly what it costs in the app. The 15 reads are free.

#When a run is free
- An answer Appleak already holds costs nothing: a teardown read in the last six hours, an Ad Search or Influencer Search run today, a UGC phrase searched in the last six hours. It comes back as a finished job with
credits: 0. - A run that fails, or that you cancel before it starts, is refunded, into the month it was charged in.
- The same run, still waiting or going, is not started or charged twice. See Runs and jobs.
- Money back on a plan or a credit pack is in the refund policy.
